Daniel De Kock (pictured when he made his debut for Leicester U20s this summer) has won a scholarship at Doncaster Knights following an impressive week long trial at the Yorkshire club.
‘He will be there until at least the end of the season,’ said Steve Melbourne.
‘He has already trained with the first team.
“Dan has done really well and he is now at the same level as George (Collenette) and Luke (Jones) at Championship level.’
The youngster - a specialist front rower - was born in South Africa and was recently on the bench for the 1st XV against Bury St Edmunds.
