MATT ARMSTRONG will travel up from Exeter to London to play in the centres for injury-ravaged Raiders against the familiar Barnes RFC tomorrow.
And there is also a call-up for community rugby development coach Callum Gladstone, who was among the try scorer for the Vikings at St Francis last weekend.
Armstrong is no stranger to many of the Guernsey squad having come through the Academy and playing during the National 3 days and most recently playing in the pre-season friendly against Macclesfield back in August.
From last week's defeated side Matt Creber is unavailable due to being on Colts duty, with Jason Batiste, Luke Sayer and Chris Ahne also unavailable to travel this week.
That adds up to three more backs lost to Reynolds as he seeks to shuffle his backline with increasing desperation.
Meanwhile in the forwards, prop Charlie Currie continues to keep Layton Batiste on the bench.
'Charlie is in good form. He was our man of the match against Bury and close to it last weekend,’ said head coach Jordan Reynolds.
'The forwards are competing really well.'
One other bonus from last week was the performance of new scrum-half Owen Clemett, who returned from a shoulder injury to play well in a full 80 minutes against Redruth.
'We thought Owen did well,' said Reynolds of the Welshman who is again paired with Elia Morisio this weekend.
'Elia will probably be looking to play in the centres when we get our fly-halves back.
'For him at the moment it is not easy to direct a side you have been thrown into, but he is doing well.'
Last season the two sides featured in two massive clashes, Reynolds' men winning with the last play of the game in London and losing 22-28 at Footes Lane at the end of March.
'They haven't changed much, but they didn't really need to,' said our coach.
'They've still got a big pack, and they've got some good backs.
